| Currently Playing: Phrenology Hey guys...yeah I think I'm going to try and write in this more regularly...I've been back home in San Francisco (the best city in the US) and have tried (very unsuccessfully) to get a job with Wilton....I can't believe we didn't find anything after filling out endless applications and forging references...hehe. Sorry to everyone who now is unable to stop in at Victoria's Secret and see us working the counters...
I've been pretty busy getting to work with George and Steve on our production company. We just finished filming the first short which involved me getting doused in blood (yeah they had no other girl to play the corpse ). Today I have to get in touch with some friends to plan a day out tomorrow for Jess and Katherine's joint birthday! Happy Birthday guys you are finally 19...now I don't feel so young.
After my mom noticed the extra weight I had gained through finals week, she immediately signed me up for the gym and I have been going at least every other day to run, swim, spin, step, ummm and do yoga - 5 pounds gone, 10 to go..
Alright I gotta go take my dogs out for a walk in the park...I'm gonna miss the city when I get back to La Jolla... | | |

| Sitting here staring at my laptop screen, I try to ignore the incessant silence that is the University of California, San Diego. The fact that finals week officially started two and a half hours ago provides no excuse, only insight into the world I find myself in day after day. Regardless of the fact that I should have been studying for the various upcoming finals I have, I made a concious effort to go out this weekend. Maybe it was a culmination of the events that had most recently taken place or the constant day to day stresses I found myself dealing with, but late friday night I resorted to drinking away all worldly issues and for the first time in awhile I reveled in the moment. I refuse to embrace the high school mentality that seems to have followed me all the way down the west coast. Perhaps I feel sorry for the countless people I see every day sprinting across the quad in a desperate flight to make it to class before the minute hand hits the 12, perhaps I don't. But for my roommates whose constant stress and fanatical study habits contributed to my emotional and mental breakdown last quarter, the guy living underneath me who has decided to triple major in his free time, and all the nerds and hermits out there, I toast "to college, the greatest four years of our life!" | | |
